This Residence is a luxury apartment building in Bangkok's Phrom Phong area, the residence's design emphasizes open views and utilizes a combination of glass and precast concrete facades. A master plan features a large swimming pool area with natural landscaping.
Design Concept
The design starts from the inside to the outside. The layout of the rooms opens the main view into the city and out of the city because it is a wide open corner with no tall buildings blocking it. The building's skin design comes from vertical fin building components used to block the sun from the oblique angles on the east and west sides. The other two sides create stability and solidity with precast concrete panels that both help create a difference with the glass walls and also help with sun protection. But the whole form is under the same proportion to create harmony and simplicity.
In terms of building layout, there is a large swimming pool in the middle, creating an experience for residents as if they were not staying in the middle of the city, with a peaceful atmosphere under the shade of the original rain trees in the project. The decoration uses natural materials and warm colors to create a relaxing atmosphere for living.
